Guides School in Kutaisi - September 2020

In the summer of 2020, the joint project "Guide School" of DMO Imereti and the Association of Guides of Georgia was successfully implemented for the first time.

As a result of the project, 20 cultural, gastronomic and wine Tourist Guides were trained in the Imereti region according to WFTGA standards, both in terms of professional skills and factual material.

The program covered teaching of both, Western and Eastern regions of Georgia, with the theoretical as well as practical trainings during 3 months.
